Delete your ZDO account

You can delete your ZDO account and everything stored in it at any time. Deleting is permanent: we cannot restore it.

Option 1: in the app (immediate)

• Open ZDO and sign in.
• Go to Settings, then Privacy & Security.
• Choose “Delete account permanently” and confirm.
• Your account, albums, photos, videos, voice notes, generated videos, sessions and device tokens are removed from our live systems immediately.

Tip: use “Export my data” on the same screen first if you want a copy.

Option 2: without the app (request by e-mail)

• Write to support@zdomemories.com from the e-mail address of your ZDO account, with the subject “Delete my ZDO account”. If you signed in with Google, use your Google account e-mail address.
• We reply to confirm the request comes from you (we may ask you to reply from the account address) and we complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by e-mail.
• Never send your password or PIN: we will never ask for them.

What is deleted and what is kept

• Deleted: your account profile, e-mail address, albums (memories), photos, videos, voice notes, text, Private Vault content, generated videos, sign-in sessions, device notification tokens and upload data.
• Backups: deleted data can remain in our short-lived backup copies for up to 35 days and is then gone. Backups are not used for anything else.
• Kept by others: purchase records held by Google Play and RevenueCat follow their own policies. Server logs rotate automatically.
• A minimal deletion record (date, one-way hashes, who handled it and how it was verified; no content, no address) is kept to show the request was honoured.
• Your Google Play subscription is not cancelled by deleting the account: cancel it first in Google Play, Subscriptions.
